Congratulations to cast members of A Chorus Line who won top awards at the RUSD Festival on Saturday, May 11. Andrew Savage placed first in Male Comedic Monologues. Amir Kelly, Alexis Alfaro, and members of the cast placed first in the Musical Category. Congratulations to Mrs. Grotness and our Theatre Department! Click for photos.
Congratulations to over 50 students who were recognized at the semiannual "Our Proud Huskies" Student Recognition Luncheon. The United Student League began sponsorship of this luncheon in 1994 when they realized that many students with outstanding qualities are often unrecognized. Each staff member selected one special student to be recognized for any reason (achievement, citizenship, helpfulness, improvement, etc.). Click for a complete list of students who were honored.
Please come out and support this fundraiser put on by North's Blue Star Regiment and our Track and Field Team. Raceway Ford will be at North on Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 am - 3:00 PM and will donate $20 per test drive. It cost nothing to participate, you just need to be 18 to test drive a vehicle. Come out and support your school!
Congratulations to North seniors Juan Andrade and Aileen Fletcher! Both students have been named among the City of Riverside's 25 Most Remarkable Teens. Juan is an AVID student and two-year member of the United Student League who currently serves as the Freshman Link Coordinator. Aileen is an International Baccalaureate student who is a four-year member of the Blue Star Regiment and co-director, choreographer and lead actress of this year's Spring Musical, "A Chorus Line." These two well-deserving Huskies will be honored by the City Council on Tuesday, May 21.
