In the coming weeks, you will be asked to give your thoughts on this question: “What would most help all students in RUSD to be successful?” We need to hear from you as our district begins putting together its Local Control and Accountability Plan. Districts throughout California are crafting these plans, which signal a significant change from the state-controlled “one size fits all” educational plans of the past to a more locally-minded plan that specifically addresses the needs of our students here in Riverside. Make sure to have your voice heard! Come of one of the community meetings, included one right here at our school. You can find a full list of meeting dates and times at: www.successforstudents.org. You also can share your ideas at this website.
