The School Site Council is a very important advisory committee. It is composed of elected members representing parents and school staff. This committee has input on planning for improvement for our school, including:

reviewing and analyzing student achievement data,

gathering community input,

helping develop the academic plan and the school site budget, and

monitoring the implementation of the plan and budget.

 

Bryant’s SSC meets the last Monday of every month at 3:00 p.m. to ensure that Bryant School continues to create a learning environment in which all students succeed. Meeting dates for the 2015-16 school year will be: 9/28; 10/26; 11/30; 1/25; 2/29; 3/28; 4/25; and 5/23.

Parent members represent the voice and point of view of all parents in our school. There are five seats on the council for parents. Anyone with a commitment to Student Achievement and ideas for new and different ways to help our students excel are encouraged to participate. Parent representatives serve for a two-year term.

If you would like to your name placed on a ballot to serve on the School Site Council, please complete the form below and return it to school by September 11th. Ballots will then be sent home listing those interested in serving on SSC and all parents will have the opportunity to elect others to represent them on this council.
